Years and years ago, my sister gave my brother a Prada wallet. We were probably around 12 or 13, so of course we had no idea what a Prada wallet was. I think he chucked it into a drawer and promptly forgot about it until one day he came into my room and said, “Here, I don’t want this anymore.”
I have had my Prada (mens!) wallet and used it faithfully the last 15+ years. First, I cannot believe it lasted this long, and second, I am still a bit in mourning.
I almost could not bear to throw it away, but it has definitely proven its use and I have definitely loved it to bits.
This was my favorite part of the wallet for bills. There were two sections in it, and I liked to keep smaller denominations on one side.I finally bought a new wallet last week sine our local Dillard’s is closing. The first thing Brian said was, “Um, that looks like a little kid’s wallet.”
In my defense I chose something bright and happy so that it could be easily found in the caverns of my purses.
I still miss my old wallet though. Maybe in a couple years I’ll get another Prada wallet to last me another 15+ years.
Which is why you should definitely go with quality over quantity over everyday items.
