Last month when we were in Orlando (was it already a month ago?!), my nephew and I went back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the evening. We went with Brian, my sister, and my other nephew in the morning while my mom watched the baby.
Well, my nephew really wanted to go back in the evening to watch Fantasmic, and no one else wanted to head back out except for the two of us. Well, Brian would have come, but he babysat instead! (Thank you my love!)
We ended up skipping the first show since it was standing room only, so we headed over to the Animation Studio to burn some time and discovered a fun little classroom where the artist taught us how to draw a Disney character.
Can you guess from my nephew’s drawing?
Maybe with my version?
It was so much fun that I really want to take an art class! I always kind of regretted not taking an art class as one of my electives at college.
It was a fun time learning to draw Buzz. I am so glad we waited out to see the second show because we had the best seats ever. Our drawings look a little wrinkled because as soon as the show was over, it started raining! We ducked into one of the stores so I could buy an umbrella and we made it back to our resort way late in the middle of the night. Everyone was sleeping.
We came home with a fun souvenir and now I am searching for an art class to take before the end of the year.
Don’t you love vacations that change your perspective just a little bit? 🙂
