Around here I have been busy getting ready for Chinese New Year. Each year I get ready by cleaning and decluttering, making sure all the bills are paid the day before, and wearing something red.
This will be the year of the Snake, which will be when Nagini is born (hence her nickname on here).
Since I am in my third trimester, my nesting instinct has hit hard. I am on a cleaning and organizing roll. Compound my pregnancy with the approaching holiday, well, let’s just say that it’s a miracle that my husband has been remarkably good-natured about it all.
There’s still a lot to do on the list, but I am hopeful to at least get some things done and out of the way.
This week I thought it would be fun to share some good organizing and simplifying tips that I have picked up the last couple of weeks from purging around here.
I don’t quite have everything figured out. Our bedroom continues to be a huge mess and I have no idea how that happened.
It’s okay. We’ll start with paper clutter and files tomorrow. 🙂
