I was so excited last year when Instagram finally came to Android phones. I immediately signed up and had so much fun. Well, for some reason I never added the photos I took on Instagram to my Project Life album. I had a coupon for a free 8×8 photo book and with the deadline looming, I quickly put together a 2012 Instagram photo album:
I chose the Familygram style book. I didn’t have time to journal in the book and figure out where I wanted everything, so after dropping in the photos and putting together the layouts, I had it printed and made sure there would be space for me to write in little notes by hand.
Well, the book came and as I was filling in the captions and journaling, it still felt a little blank:
I then remembered I had a some leftover scrapbook supplies like stickers and rub-ons that I have had forever and decided to incorporate them into the book as well to make it more of a hybrid book:
I managed to finish this during Bunny’s nap. Here is a before and after page for comparison:
Now it is in rotation and Bunny loves pointing out all the photos and memories of last year. It was a fast and easy project. Why can’t all projects be this simple? 🙂
