Well since Nagini decided to not make her appearance just yet, I had time to tackle the last week of Project Simplify, which was “That Put-Off Project.” As a crafter, I think I have a lot of put-off projects. It was tough on narrowing it down!
After organizing the piles off my desk from last week, I used my metal file holders to sort through projects I could work on:
I created temporary labels for four of the holders, and decided to tackle the pile of cds that we have had sitting around forever:
We had cds from our old computer files dating as far back as 2001! There were some fun things like mp3s and our old college papers. But the best part was finding photos that I had forgotten even existed!
I decided to get rid of everything except all our old pictures and moved them to the drive where I do all my scrapbooking:
I have already started working on our wedding album and have been gradually working through on which photos I want to edit and print. After more than six years of marriage, I figured it was about time to get our wedding into a scrapbook. So, I guess that makes it Part Two of my Put-Off Project, right?
It was so much fun participating in Project Simplify again this year. I love the motivation to get things done. I’m looking forward to next year!
