Initially after I finished working on Bunny’s first year album, I decided that it would be enough to do a yearly album with our family memories. But over the last couple of months as I put together each weekly spread, I was leaving a lot of funny toddler moments and stories out of the book because there wasn’t enough room to tell it all! Plus our family albums are not all about Bunny, so it is a balance to make sure I tell a little bit about everyone.
After mulling it over some, I was inspired by this book spotted on Pinterest to create my own Project Life inspired book. I bought the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party Mini Kit (for 2012) digitally and also the Neapolitan (for 2013) to get started.
Here is my title page. I haven’t decided what photos to drop in just yet to document Bunny’s 2012 just yet:
For 2012 I decided to go simpler and choose photos that didn’t make it in our 2012 Project Life album that I still loved. I decided to document 2012 by month and within each month I would do a four page spread with the third page a full 12×12 image.
For the journaling I chose stories that I remembered or wanted Bunny to remember.
Here is January 2012:

I might be a bit biased, but I think I have the cutest daughters ever! 😉

Right now my plan is to do monthly pages with the mini-kits. For 2014 I am going to use Amy Tan’s Cut & Paste for Bunny and Maggie Holmes’ Flea Market for Nagini (after she turns 1 year, so there will be some overlap between her baby album and this album).
Also, I think I am a little bit addicted to Project Life right now! 🙂
