Let’s dive in and talk about planning. Think about how you want to approach this project. Don’t get too bogged down in the details, and start mentally shaping the vision you have for your album.
A few things to consider: How will you document your baby’s album? Will you take on a traditional scrapbook? Project Life or pocket pages? Do it all digitally and then have it printed?
Next, what is the length of time you plan to record the baby album? Weekly? Monthly? Years? Or will you have a more casual approach and just do it sporadically?
What colors would you use in your album? Will you be doing the traditional blue or pink or mix it all up?
For both my children’s albums, I decided to cover our life before pregnancy, pregnancy, birth, and their first year (monthly). I’m going to mostly write from that perspective, and try to incorporate other ideas as well.
