Happy New Year!
For the last couple of weeks we have lived in a hotel and traveled to Ohio for the holidays. We’re back in the hotel and waiting for the contractors to finish painting our house with the carpets and tiles to be cleaned tomorrow. The movers come in on Monday and hopefully we will find a bit of normal!
Every year I try to evaluate my resolutions, and put it out there so I can check back on my progress.
Last year I tried to focus on a word: content. I liked the idea of it, though I only made it until April.
This year I’m going to try to do a combination of finding a word and have it go along with my resolutions.
For 2015 my word is space. I think it would rightly apply to aspects of my home, family, and life and I’m going to explore it a bit more.
-Lose weight so I have more space in my clothes, this includes running a 5k with my sister-in-law in a few weeks, and to continue working on exercise with running
-Finding space in our new home and adjusting to a new city, making new friends, and coming up with a new routine
-Letting go of certain expectations of others and myself, in my relationships and things I set out to achieve
-Exploring new avenues of investing, and getting our paperworks and stuff in order
I’ll think more about this and hopefully have a chance to talk more about it soon.
