This past year I’ve noticed an ever-increasing amount of gray hairs on my head. Early graying runs on my mom’s side of the family, and unfortunately, out of my other three siblings, and being the second youngest, I seem to have caught the gene.
I know it’s vain of me to fret about this, but hey, in middle school my superlative was “best hair.” And when I won it, I bragged that I never used any product on my hair or brushed it. It’s definitely hair karma now. Ha!
I don’t think it would be as big of a deal if I had blonde hair, but with my pitch black hair, the grays stand out. I go back and forth wondering if I should go ahead and dye it or just let it be. The idea of dyeing my hair for an undetermined amount of years is not my idea of a good time.
Right now, I’m leaning with leaving it be. Well, technically, I thought I should start pulling out the hairs, but then I’ve done that before where it grows back sticking straight up and way worse.
Any tips, tricks, or suggestions? A family friend suggested I take a tablespoon of black sesame a day and I’m two months in and I don’t think I’ve noticed a difference!
