Yesterday I mentioned how I keep track of schedules and things on my planner, but I’m not completely technology averse either!
To remind myself of said appointments and things to do, I use the alarm feature on my iPhone.
Usually about a week before or sooner, I check the calendar and then set an alarm for it. I try to set at least 20 minutes before said event, so I have a bit of leeway.
Otherwise, I keep the same schedule, like if I have to drop my kids off to preschool, or take them to swimming lessons. It helps me stay on top of things without overwhelming me and constantly checking my phone or the clock at what time it is.
I think this is one of the simplest tools to add to your life. Even things like remembering to take vitamins or medicine can be set with a daily alarm.
I haven’t researched if there’s an app that will extend the alarm beyond a week, but that’d be my only very minor complaint.
