Over the past few years I’ve gone through different phases with cleaning products. Back in our first house, I stocked up on cleaners like bleach, window cleaner, wood cleaner/polish, and on and on. Then over the next couple of houses, I phased them out, and opted to go with homemade, or more natural cleaners. Now, I’ve been phasing out the multitude of “natural” cleaners and have not been replenishing them.
Instead, I recently decided to keep it simple and just stick with a couple. Not only does this free up space in the cabinet where I keep our cleaning supplies, but it’s just easier as well.
I’ve been using Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner, in Clementine. Once this one runs out, I’ll be using Mrs. Meyer’s Multi-Surface Concentrate in Lemon Verbena), which is just what I happen to have in my cleaning stash.
I like the idea of using just one product that covers a multitude of surfaces. It seems silly to have one for the toilet, one for glass, one for the tub, one for the countertop, and on and on.
Keep it simple so there’s less fuss!
