One of my favorite sections to browse online, the library, and the bookstore is the home and organizing section. I’m inspired and motivated every time I read a good book.
Some of my favorites on home and life are:
Right? Pretty much everyone was inspired by this book this year and I am no different. I think once you dedicate the time to go through all your things in one go it will be exhausting, but worth it in the end. That’s not to say our house is completely “Kondo-ed” but we’re getting there!
Before Marie Kondo I turned to this book on my decluttering and simplifying journey. I liked the ease of reading and examining your motives behind clutter.
I read this book earlier this year and it made me really think about my personal habits and why I do things the way I do. I also liked the strategies that can help or harm my personality type to help me achieve the goals that I want.
Pretty much one of the best parenting books I’ve read. I have incorporated so much of it into our family life and I feel like my kids are better behaved (Usually! Or at least I pretend to think so) because of it.
One of the first books I’ve read that got me thinking about simple living. I haven’t always followed it, but it was a great eye opener that we didn’t have to do things just because everyone else does.
What are some of your favorites?
