Recently on our neighborhood Facebook group, some of our neighbors were complaining of people soliciting them after 9PM. It’s taken me a while to realize, hey, I don’t have to answer the door if someone rings/knocks on it.
We’ve had our share of solicitors here, and it led me on a search to find some “No Soliciting” signs on Pinterest. If you scroll through, let me know which you think are the really funny ones.
First I used a printable and taped it to the window by the door, but then my husband commented it looked too big from the street.
Next, I found a piece of scrap wood in the garage and after writing it out on pencil, I went over it with a large Sharpie marker:
I painted on a few coats of Polycrylic. My husband added the hooks onto the sign and we attached it right behind the doorbell so that it hangs right below:
By doing this we didn’t have to drill into the cement or in the stone.
Now, I’m going to make a bunch and go door to door asking my neighbors if they want to buy one. (I’m kidding, of course! But it would be hilariously awesome.)
