With two kids that means double the autographs from Disney characters. Since I’m working on a larger more in-depth scrapbook to our vacation, I didn’t want to duplicate the character autographs. I made an autograph scrapbook album for my kids to enjoy and flip through.
I used a 6×8 size album. This is actually an Ali Edwards, Week in the Life album that was a bit dinged when I received it a couple years ago, so it’s perfect for a 3 and a 5 year old! I used a combination of page protectors like this, this, and this.
I pretty much limited the journaling to a few here and there. There’s just enough journaling for them to be read to like a children’s book, but not so much that it becomes more than what this project was supposed to be.
I went with the “leftover” photos I had printed for our scrapbook. These were the rest of them so while it’s not a complete book, it gives just enough for them. The highlight of course are the autographs and photos with the characters. And really, that’s all that matters in this album.
I only used a couple of embellishments. I had the Disney Sorcerer cards from a trip back in 2012 that I saved and some of them were perfect and went into this album. I wish we would have gotten more cards while we were there but I wasn’t thinking that far ahead!
The kids have been enjoying reliving their memories of our trip. Right now, the desk is stuffed and busy as I work on our big Disney album.
