As I’ve been spending the last few weeks working on improving my eating habits, I’ve turned to looking for more interesting ways to cook, make, or season my vegetables. In Vibrant India: Fresh Vegetarian Recipes from Bangalore to Brooklyn, I get a chance to explore new vegetarian recipes and sample Indian food.
Aside from making my own naan once in a while, I’m pretty much a novice when it comes to making Indian food. Chitra Agrwal walks you through the essentials of the pantry to making your own dishes. With almost 80 recipes, there’s a lot to try. One thing I wish it had was more photographs, as I’m a pretty visual person and like to see what all the dishes look like.
Overall, I think if you’re looking to dive into Indian cooking or even try new vegetarian dishes, this is a fun book to check out.
