I’ve been on the Keto diet since October last year. In the 4 months I’ve been on it, I’ve lost around 30 pounds (with some starts and stops around the holidays). It’s the first time I’ve been on a diet where I felt like everything made “sense”. In The Keto Reset Diet: Reboot Your Metabolism in 21 Days and Burn Fat Forever, author Mark Sisson breaks down what the Keto diet means in an approachable, readable format. Sometimes I worry books like these get a little too technical and boring, but it’s a good conversational type of read in explaining the diet.
The rest of the book covers recipes, and I think they’re good. I wish there were more photographs showing the food, other than a select few colored pages in the middle of the book.
Overall, it’s a good book to get you started on the Keto diet to see if it would be the right fit for you.
