My Pinwheel Sampler Quilt is one of my favorite quilts. I think the most time consuming part was cutting the fabric. Originally I wanted to give this to my mom, but she preferred my next project. I am secretly glad she chose the other quilt, because I really adore this one. It’s funny because she likes to grab this one to use anyway!
I also completely quilted this myself on the machine. It was not as scary as I thought it would be and I only had to rip out a very small section when the bobbin went crazy. I really enjoyed the process and I don’t think I made too many mistakes.
I love the backing of this quilt so much. It’s a happy red color and I used up some of my scraps from the front of the quilt for the binding and the strip.
